The new musical will open at The Bridewell Theatre on the 21st October (until the 26th October, before heading to The Courtyard Theatre (29th October until the 2nd November) and 229 London (4th-6th November).
KIDULTS! is a brand new musical which features 20 original songs music composed by Lulu Chen and Various Artists.
Meet the KIDULTS! Come and watch their stories unfold in one almighty school year. Follow their highs, their lows, their darkest hours, friendships and fallouts, every ridiculous teenage angst. A show that will re-parent your inner child; transporting you back to the trials and tribulations of ‘Kidulthood’.
Associate Producer Michelle Plevin brings her 30 years of experience as a nurse, specialising in neurodiversity and mental health, to the project which explores themes such as LGBTQ acceptance, individuality, the development of gender identities, forced conformity, crime, neglect, abuse, mental health, bullying, and neurodiversity.
While casting has yet to be announced, the musical is written and directed by Mark Tunstall.
