The fourth film in the franchise is set to be released in cinemas on the 14th February 2025.
A full length trailer has now been released for the fourth and final chapter of the Bridget Jones film franchise, based on the books by Helen Fielding.
Directed by Michael Morris (To Leslie, Better Call Saul), the film stars Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall. Mad About the Boy follows the adventures of Bridget Jones as she dips back into the dating game as a mother.
The screenplay is by Helen fielding herself, whose first Bridget Jones book was published in 1996 and transformed for the big screen in 2001. It also features work by Emmy winner Abi Morgan (The Iron Lady, Eric) and Oscar® nominee Dan Mazer (I Give it A Year, Bridget Jones’s Baby).
The film is produced for Working Title by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, whose films, including The Danish Girl, Darkest Hour, Fargo, Les Misérables and The Theory of Everything, among others, have earned 14 Academy Awards® and six Best Picture nominations. The film is also produced by Jo Wallett (Wicked Little Letters, Catherine Called Birdy). The film is executive produced by Amelia Granger and Sarah-Jane Wright for Working Title, Renée Zellweger and by Helen Fielding.
