NEWS: Priscilla Queen of the Desert to Embark on New Uk & Ireland tour

It has been confirmed that Priscilla Queen of the Desert will head out on a UK & Ireland tour in 2026, opening at the Palace Theatre in Manchester (19th-28th February) and will visit the New Victoria Theatre in Woking (11th to the 16th May) as part of the tour.

The musical is based on the 1994 film and follows the adventures of three friends travelling across Australia  in a dilapidated bus nicknamed Priscilla to put on the show of a lifetime.

As well as Woking and Manchester, the musical will also visit: King’s Theatre in Glasgow, Liverpool Empire , Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, Birmingham Hippodrome, Norwich Theatre Royal , Theatre Royal in Newcastle, Edinburgh Playhouse, Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, Aylesbury Theatre, The Marlowe in Canterbury, Grand Opera House in Belfast, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin, Theatre Royal in Brighton, Curve Theatre in Leicester, Alhambra Theatre in Bradford and Hall for Cornwall in Truro. While casting has yet to be announced, the production is directed by Olivier Award-nominated Ian Talbot and choreographed by Olivier Award-winner Matt Cole with set and lighting design by Andrew Exeter.

The musical includes a range of  80s and 90s disco anthems including ‘Hot Stuff’, ‘It’s Raining Men’, ‘I Will Survive’, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ and ‘Finally’.
