The two additional shows including a returning production and London premiere.

The Kiln Theatre has confirmed further programming for its 2026 season.
Firstly announced is the Olivier Award winning Manic Street Creature by Maimuna Memon, which will appear in a brand new production from the 5th to the 28th March. Directed by Kirsty Patrick Ward, the show follows the story of a singer-songwriter from Lancashire to London, recording her debut album and falling in love.
It will then be followed by the London premiere of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Driftwood by Martina Laird. This production will transfer to the Kiln Theatre from the 17th April until the 30th May. Set in the 150’s in the Caribbean, the play explores the search for family and belonging.
Talking about the news, Amit Sharma, Artistic Director/CEO of Kiln Theatre, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be welcoming two extraordinary pieces of work to Kiln in 2026. Maimuna Memon’s award-winning Manic Street Creature is an electrifying piece of gig theatre and I’m so excited to be giving it a new life here in a major production with Gary Beestone Associates. Alongside this, I am delighted to continue our wonderful relationship with the RSC presenting the London premiere of Martina Laird’s powerful debut play, Driftwood. I cannot wait to share these shows with our audiences – prepare to be wowed!”
