Tickets for the production are set to go on sale from the 23rd October.

Full casting and creative team has been announced for the National Theatre’s upcoming revival of Les Liasons Dangereuses, running at the theatre from the 21st March until the 6th June 2026. It will be the first time that Christopher Hampton’s adaptation of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ novel will be staged at the National Theatre.

Marquise de Merteuil, master in the art of survival, wields her influence with intelligence and control. Alongside the magnetic Vicomte de Valmont, they turn seduction into strategy and weaponise desire. But when their alliance collapses into rivalry, the battle between them threatens to destroy everyone in their path.
Joining the previously announced Monica Barbaro, Gabrielle Drake, Lesley Manville, and Aidan Turner will be: Sharif Afifi, Nandi Bhebhe, Ali Goldsmith, Darragh Hand, Cat Simmons and Hannah van der Westhuysen.
The production is set to be directed by Marianne Elliott who returns to the National Theatre for the first time in nine years. Meanwhile, the creative team will also include: set designer Rosanna Vize, costume designer Natalie Roar, choreographer Tom Jackson Greaves, composer Jasmin Kent Rodgman, lighting designer James Farncombe, sound designer Ian Dickson for Autograph, intimacy director Ingrid Mackinnon, fight director Sam Lyon-Behan, casting directors Alastair Coomer and Naomi Downham, dialect coach Hazel Holder and voice coach Cathleen McCarron.
