The film is set for release on the 17th July.
A final countdown trailer has now been released for Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated take on The Odyssey, heading to cinemas later this month.
This new trailer offers an even closer look at what audiences can expect as Matt Damon as Odysseus, King of Ithaca who is returning home to help rescue his wife and son following the Trojan war. Expect plenty of battles and adventure along the way.
As well as Matt Damon, the film also stars Anne Hathaway as Odysseus’s wife Penelope, the Queen of Ithaca, and Tom Holland as his son, Prince Telemachus.Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson also stars as Antinous who has his eyes on the queen while Odysseus is away.
They are joined by Charlize Theron as nymph Calypso, John Leguizamo as Odysseus’s servant Eumaeus ,Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, the King of Sparta and brother of Agamemnon, played by Benny Safdie.
The Odyssey marks the first film from Christopher Nolan since since 2023’s Oscar winning film Oppenheimer which was released in 2023.
