News: New Trailer Released for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey

A new trailer has been released for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming take on the classical Greek epic, which will be released in cinemas on the 17th July.

This new full-length trailer offers a first look of Matt Damon as Odysseus, King of Ithaca who is returning home to help rescue his wife and son – with lots of action and adventure along the way.

As well as Matt Damon, the film also stars Anne Hathaway as Odysseus’s wife Penelope, the Queen of Ithaca, and Tom Holland as his son, Prince Telemachus.Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson also stars as Antinous who has his eyes on the queen while Odysseus is away.

The trailer also offers glimpses of nymph Calypso (Charlize Theron), as well as Odysseus’s servant Eumaeus (John Leguizamo) and Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, the King of Sparta and brother of Agamemnon, played by Benny Safdie.

The Odyssey marks the first new film from Christopher Nolan since the Oscar winning Oppenheimer which was released in 2023.
