The film is set to be released in cinemas on the 20th November 2026.
A new trailer has now been released for the upcoming thriller A Talent For Murder, directed by Anton Corbijn and adapted by Joanna Murray-Smith from her 2014 play Switzerland.
The film sees Helen Mirren become legendary crime writer Patricia Highsmith who Alden Ehrenreich’s character literary agent Edward Ridgeway attempts to persuade her to write one final installment of her Tom Ripley series, with his efforts gradually turning more sinister. The cast also includes Olivia Cooke and Juliet Stevenson
A Talent for Murder will have its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival before arriving in cinemas this autumn.
This film marks Anton Corbijn’s first narrative feature in more than a decade. The filmmaker previously directed the acclaimed Joy Division biopic Control, George Clooney thriller The American and A Most Wanted Man, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman.
