Be Our Guest – Beauty and the Beast: coinciding with the release of the first teaser trailer for the new film which was unveiled this week , this song keeps popping up. It is one of the biggest sequences in the original film, it will be fascinating to see how film makers approach it this time around.

A Whole New World -Aladdin: as the Broadway musical of the classic animated film hits the London stage, it seems appropriate that this song is on repeat at the moment. The most iconic song from the film is uplifting and is beautiful to listen to no matter how many times you listen to it!

Paris Holds the Key to Your Heart – Anastasia: a brand new musical based on the 1997 film is set to arrive on Broadway next year, following a run at at Hartford Stage in Connecticut. Although according to reports many of the songs have been revised for the stage production it will be interesting to see what the reaction to the new musical will be.

Saving All My Love For You – The Bodyguard: The Musical: heading back to London in July with Beverley Knight as Rachel Marron, the soundtrack and the story makes for a perfect girls night out. It has been playing constantly on this writer’s CD player since seeing it on its UK tour in March, starring Alexandra Burke.

Anyone Who Had a Heart – Burt Bacharach: following the announcement that the London cast recording of Close to You: Bacharach Reimagined will be released next month , a lot of Bacharach songs have been playing – but this song in particular is on repeat a lot at the moment. Definitely a favourite Bacharach song.
