Alan Menken’s musical version of A Christmas Carol will be brought to life at the Lost Theatre from the 19th to the 31st December.
Based on the classic story by Charles Dickens, Oscar winning composer Alan Menken, Lynn Ahrens and Mike Ockrent’s musical brings to life the story of Scrooge and his journey through his life in the past, present and the future with the help of three ghosts as he searches for the true meaning of Christmas.
This production at the Lost Theatre is co-directed by Mark Magill and Martin John Bristow, with musical direction by Randy Smartnick.
Cast for the production includes: Piers Garham, Katrina Winters, Rebecca Westberry, Jessica Finn, Rachel Dobell, Michal Horowicz and Natalie Morgan.
Mark Magill has been running Lost Theatre since 1989, first as its administrator and then from 2006 as its Artistic Director.
Alan Menken is best known for composing scores for musicals such as Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. The musical features lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and a book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens.
