Love London Love Culture’s Halloween Activities Picks: 2022

Looking for things to do this Halloween? Here’s a few suggestions that we have in mind….

Hallowed Peak : want an immersive experience this halloween? Then why not take a trip up to Canada Water for this experience which includes 13 new trails and adventures to thrill and scare visitors! You can choose to tke a stroll along the The Waterway while exploring the vibrant Main Street lined with buzzing houses and shops – or delve into the forgotten Old Town, once buried, now renewed… – book your tickets here.

Behind the Scenes: Spooktacular Special Effects Tour: why not pop along to the Royal Opera House and go behind the scenes and find out how they achieve some of the most gory effects they put on stage. Prepare to get up close with gruesome props, ghostly costumes and ghastly stage make-up and prosthetics! It will include props from productions such as Salome, Frankenstein, Don Giovanni, and La Sonnambula.  Following a short visit inside the Royal Opera House’s amphitheatre, the tour will end with a complimentary cocktail or mocktail in Piazza, the Royal Opera House’s terrace bar overlooking Covent Garden.

Halloween Boat Party: prefer to celebrate Halloween with a party? Then why not jump on board either at the Crown Pier or Temple Pier between the 28th to the 31st October. Complete with two dance floors with DJ’s who will help you celebrate and all manner of monsters and creatures – this looks set to be the Halloween party to visit!

Pay a visit to the London Dungeon: Want a few scares? Then there’s nowhere better in London for this! From the 15th to the 31st October, visitors will be able to step inside the attic of 52 Berkeley Square – a place filled with murder, mystery and madness. As you discover the stories of those who have lived in this building, there is just one question….will you survive the night?

Watch one of your favourite Halloween films at Backyard Cinema: whether it is Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, It or Addams Family Values there is a spooky film for everyone, thanks to Backyard Cinema!

Ghosts of London: Haunted City Game: why not inject some fun to your halloween and go on a quest around London by solving clues that will unlock frightening local stories. On this haunted London walking tour, those taking part will use a mobile app that works as a personal guide during this interactive exploration game. Are you ready to see the scary face of London?
