The sequel to the 2016 animated film is set to be released in cinemas on the 28th November.
Disney has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming film Zootopia 2, which is set for release later this year.
Written and directed by Jared Bush (also chief creative officer for Walt Disney Animation Studios), the film follows once agin the adventures of cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman) who soon discover that their working relationship isn’t as strong as it could be when Chief Bogo (voice of Idris Elba) orders them to join the Partners in Crisis counselling programme. They are then faced with their toughest case to date when asked to deal with a case involving a newly arrived venomous snake in the animal metropolis named Gary De’Snake (voice of Ke Huy Quan).
This sequel will introduce a a variety of new characters in addition to existing ones from the original film including:
